New Cars

This is our new car "Black Mamba". We bought it off craigslist... took us a bit to get it registered and legal but its finally ours and ready to ride! 

Fall Festival's

B and I have heard nothing but how wonderful the fall festvals are around here; we were lucky enough to be invited to one this morning! It was so much fun; tons of crafts and unique decorations to look at (I wish I had brought my camera),  rope makers, a black smith making nails, and tons of food vendors. This will definitely not be the last one we go to!

They had so many fun earrings, I got the bat and the pumpkin to be festive for Halloween!

Brian finally got a haircut!! We had a friend from our ward do it and she did a great job!!   We also bought a used G35 Infiniti this past week! We will post pictures soon, it is under Brian's construction.. he is pretty amazing with fixing things; born to be an engineer!

Excellent Theme Park's

B's work reserved King Dominion Amusement Park this past weekend and lowered their price for the tickets, this is an offer we could not refuse! We still have yet to explore Busch Garden's, it is just down the road from where we live! This place is known for it's thrilling roller coaster's and it did not disappoint!

This is THE DOMINATOR behind us, it has the second largest loop in the world (this was our 3rd favorite,  Volcano being our second). This is a better picture of the coaster!

This was our ultimate favorite! Holy Cow, this ride is called THE INTIMIDATOR and it definitely lived up to it's name. Everyone at the the park was telling us that we would black out if we sat in the front... they failed to mention that if we sat in the back row we would still blackout!! It was always at the same part, things would get fuzzy for us and turn black for about 5 seconds, which is pretty long for a ride! We went 3 times in a row and needed to take a break after blacking out so much! The line was pretty short; we think it was because everyone was afraid of it, a valid emotion for this ride!

1st time: we rode in the front, we were in a daring mood!
My thought process while on the coaster: O my gosh! My stomach is going to explode!!
B's thought process while on the coaster: I hope we don't hit a bird, we will for sure die!

2nd time: Back Row; not as scary but still got us good!

3rd time: Strike a pose!

We decided to ride our second favorite for our last ride. We got to sit down for a bit because the ride had technical difficulties; we quite enjoyed it!
What a fun memory we shared!

New Old Thing's

B and I decided we wanted a coffee table and found a great deal on one off of Craigslist. The plan was to just check the table out but we liked the woman so much that we purchased it! It didn't fit in our car, and we didn't have enough money on hand. The lady offered to drive it to our house and accepted the cash we had with us (it was quite a bit less then what she was asking for). She was so kind and said she was "paying it forward". As you can tell it didn't match too well so, we decided to paint it and make it look vintage.

 

B is working hard on sanding... we did everything indoors!

This was my favorite part! We painted with a primer and then coated it with the paint we chose at Lowes all day Saturday.

We picked these knobs out at Anthropologie. Love it!

We are so proud of our accomplishment... best date we've had EVER! (except the night we got engaged of course... at the John Mayer Concert!)

Morning's

Brian looking sharp in his work attire, he is so handsome!

I am volunteering everyday in the NICU until I actually find a job as an RN. I am in heaven helping out with the tiniest babies. Everyone has been so kind to me there, I have been extremely blessed!

Rainy days

B and I were driving around our city the other day, still spending our wedding giftcards believe it or not and for the second time in a row we were caught in a sudden down pour right when we got into Bed Bath & Beyond. It's a beautiful sunny day when we walk in and then we hear the loudest rain from inside the store, it is madness! We ran to our car parked in the third row from the front and look how soaked B got! I had my hat to protect me :)

Lasagna

Multi-tasking making lasagna for B! I decided to add some extra zucchini we had in the fridge!
